The Backup/CD-ROM feature enables you to prepare CD's for burning in Roxio's
Toast Titanium. As well, it is ideal for archiving digital files onto
removable disks, such as Iomega's Zip and Jaz, onto CD-ROMs using Apple's
built-in Disc Burning technology, or onto disk partitions or hard drives
on a network.
1. Getting started
A catalog must be saved before it can be backedup. Once your catalog has
been saved, select "Backup/CD-ROM" under the "Make"
menu. iView MediaPro then automatically scans your computer for available
hard drives, partitions and removable media. iView also scans for Toast,
and places it first in the Destination menu.
2. Choose a destination
The destination pull-down menu allows you to designate where you want
files in a catalog to be archived. You can backup just the media files
or the files and folders. You can also include a copy of the iView catalog.
When you select a removable disk or hard drive, the CD Title option disappears.
When moving files to a CD-ROM that will be burned with Apple's built-in
Disc Burning technology, the CD is named when inserted into disk bay.
3. Finishing up
Once you have selected as destination, and backup options, just click
the "Backup" button. iView will make a copy of the files and
place them in the desired location. When backing up to CD-ROM through
Toast, you will need to complete the CD-burning process in the Toast application.

of Toast on Mac OS 9.
