Why does FTP upload every file in a folder?
Some solutions use a previously created environment into which iView MediaPro inserts the files needed to complete the HTML gallery. So a folder may contain files not generated by the iView MediaPro gallery feature but that are needed to be uploaded. The FTP upload will transfer extra files found in the folder the gallery was generated for this situation.
In order to upload only the files created by the iView HTML gallery function we advise you to create the gallery in a dedicated folder.
What is the embedfix.js file in my generated Web gallery assets folder?
As a result of the Eolas vs. Internet Explorer court case Microsoft have been forced to re-think the way their browser works with rich media content. When embedding Flash or QuickTime content into Web pages, for example, Internet Explorer 6 or above will now prompt the user to activate the item by clicking on it before it can be used. The embedfix.js file is a simple JavaScript file that forces this browser into accepting these files without having to prompt the user. The file will only run on Internet Explorer 6 or above on Windows and is less than 1K in size.
How can I get a copy of the themes to edit?
Editing the existing themes is a good way to start learning about how iView MediaPro themes work and easier than creating themes from scratch.
Mac users can use the script 'Copy HTML Theme ...' (in the tools section of the Applescript menu).
Windows users will find the themes in Documents and settings -> use -> application data -> iView -> plug-ins -> HTML templates folder.
