Why might a converted image not include data (Convert, HTML, Email)
There is a bug in Quicktime that means in some circumstances it may not be possible to create images that contain EXIF information. This could result in previous versions of View MediaPro failing to convert an image if the conversion includes EXIF information. Features in MediaPro that can include EXIF data while converting images include Convert Images Files, HTML Gallery and Send Email.
In the current version of iView MediaPro (version 3.1.1 and later) where an image would previously not of been created, because of this problem, this will be detected and an image will be created without the EXIF data.
Apple is aware of this bug and hopefully will fix it in a future version of Quicktime.

Why can't I use Photoshop CS as a helper application? (Mac)
There can be a problem with any application that tries to use Photoshop CS (PS CS) as a helper application ('open with'). PS CS will be launched but the selected images(s) will not be opened. This is not a problem specific to MediaPro using PS CS as a helper.
The solution is to reinstall Photoshop. You may find other answers by searching Adobe's support pages.
