How does iView MediaPro 1.5 handle color correction?

You can control which images with embedded color profiles will be color corrected in the iView MediaPro preferences on the images tab.

If color correction is applied to an image, iView MediaPro will use the profiles you have chosen for your system in ColorSync (System preference in OS X, Control panel in OS 9.x or 8.6).

For instance if an image was imported from a scanned document and contained the profile of that scanner, iView Media could convert the colors to your chosen monitor profile and display the colors accurately. Thumbnails in iView Media Pro 1.5 are not color corrected.
