Using MediaPro with the Gekko Uploader is the most efficient, cost effective and flawless way to submit your images to Gekko and sell them online. By managing your images in iView MediaPro, there is no re-entering of metadata after you upload images to the Website. Download and use the Gekko Installer to get special scripts that will help set up iView MediaPro with special metadata fields and validate your photos for submission to Gekko.
There are currently a number of third-party QuickTime codecs available that, once installed, extend the functionality of iView as well as any other QuickTime savvy application.
The QuickTime Components Project is dedicated to open source QuickTime development for popular open source audio and video codecs.
You can currently download and install Ogg Vorbis, an audio codec developed by Xiphophorus,
and MNG, an animation video codec for both Mac and Windows.
The QuickTime 6 MPEG-2 PlayBack Component provides QuickTime 6 users with the ability to import and play back MPEG-2 content, including both multiplexed and non-multiplexed streams.
iViewXT for QuarkXPress
MediaPro users wishing to catalog Quark XPress documents can make use of the free iViewXT Quark XTension to embed enhanced previews and document meta data into their documents. This information is then automatically imported into your iView catalogs when the XPress documents are cataloged.

Ghostscript Carbon
iView MediaPro 3 supports cataloging of PDF and Postscript files, including EPS and Adobe Illustrator 9 (or earlier) files. Ghostscript is a software library that allows applications to parse and render these formats.
